Lowri completed her undergraduate degree in Goldsmiths College at the University of London in Psychology. She subsequently enrolled on a masters degree in molecular neuroscience at Bristol University. Lowri joined the Microvascular group in Manchester in 2021 when she was awarded a British Heart Foundation Accelerator Award PhD studentship.
Lowri uses the Capillary-to-Parenchymal Arteriole (CaPA) preparation in order to study neurovascular coupling in the brain.
