Oxford, England: MOV/EDH, 2024
We all had the best time at Magdalen College, Oxford, even trying our hat at punting… Our very own Katy Walsh won best talk and Lowri Evans won best poster!

Manchester, UK: ARUK, 2023
The North West network meetings are a great way to catch up with the current work being done for Alzheimer’s in and around Manchester. Katy and Lowri won prizes for their talks on calcium imaging and methodological advancements.

Long Beach, USA: APS, 2023
Katy and Lowri flew out to present their posters, catching up with alum Jade, and our many collaborators including Mark Nelson and Fabrice Dabertrand. This is the largest physiological conference each year and it was exciting to be at its inaugural event.

Kyoto, Japan: International Society of Hypertension, 2022
Adam, Jade and Lowri presented at this meeting in Japan. Our Manchester colleague, Maciej Tomaszewski hosted the meeting as President of the society. In the bamboo forest, we created a Microvascular@Manchester charm at the Temple for Good Luck Charms!

Copenhagen, Denmark: Europhysiology, 2022
Almost the whole group presented data at the joint meeting of the European Physiological Societies in Copenhagen. Harry gave an oral presentation on the small artery mechanisms underlying hypertension induced vascular dementia (subsequently published in PNAS)
